Adding Sentiment Tagging to Trackur’s Dashboard

We’re excited to launch a new feature that we know many of you have asked for: sentiment tagging!

When you log into your Trackur dashboard today, you’ll see three colored circles next to each expanded item. These circles can be checked based on the sentiment of the discovered item. This allows you to mark any item as either positive, negative, or neutral.

Once you’ve tagged discovered items, you can then filter your Trackur results to show only those results. Want to see only those that are negative–and need action–simply click the red circle in the sort options.

In addition, those Trackur account holders on our Corporate plan or above will find the same sentiment tags in their CSV/Excel export. This is great for those that want to show clients or managers which media mentions are positive and which are negative!

Here’s how it looks:

We stand by our assertion that automating sentiment analysis simply doesn’t work. Only you, the user, knows which news story, tweet, or blog post has a negative impact on your reputation. Only you can tell the difference between something that’s neutral and something that’s helpful to your branding!

If you have any questions about the new sentiment tagging, you can head over to the official Trackur support page.

Happy tracking!
