Our MySQL database crashed pretty hard this morning. Unfortunately, it’s repairing itself at an awfully slow rate. :-(

We estimate that it will finish around 11am ET — at which time the dashboard will back online.

The good news is we have a replacement system ready to go, so this should not happen again.

I’m sorry for the hassle this is causing.

We’re not entirely sure why it’s happening, but we have a plan in place. In fact, it’s something we’ve been working on for the past 6 weeks, so if you can sit tight for another 12-24 hours it should all be fixed. In addition, these changes will speed up just about every aspect of Trackur–so it will be worth your wait.

We’re looking at an issue that is causing some new searches to fail to load. Some saved searches have also failed to update since January 14th.

The information is there, it’s just a display bug. We’ll update this once we have it fixed.

It took a little longer than we expected but the result is a faster back-end. This will also allow us to improve the speed of the dashboard over the next day or two. ;-)

We’re currently making some upgrades to the Trackur server and will need to take the server offline until we complete the upgrades. Hopefully this shouldn’t take too long to complete.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We’d have done this over the weekend (ideally) but we’d rather have the personel on hand to ensure a smooth process.

We’ve blocked and fixed the issue.

Trackur.com and Track.Trackur.com are experiencing some unexaplained slowness. Like, OMG nothing will load, slow.

We’re not sure if it’s just something that requires a server restart or something more sinister.

We’re working on it and will update here when fixed.

The best we can tell, this started happening at the end of last week. It has now been completely fixed and you should see improvements in the next hour or so.

The bug only effected saved searches with multiple keywords. Instead of matching only against those keywords, Trackur would match against the first keyword and only the first letter of the second keyword. So, if you were search for “apple iphone” we were including results for “apple i” – yeah totally bizarre!

At 9:30pm ET on July 8th, we rebooted the Trackur database and were treated to some pretty nasty error messages.

Yeah, they were ugly. While we sanitize everything with Lysol, we’ve taken the dashboard offline. Don’t worry, we won’t miss anything and we should have the dashboard back online in the next two hours.
